Here's an example page of "Chizuk Tips" that every addicted person should write for himself. It could be very helpful to make a vow (or accept upon yourself, even without a vow) to read this list that you compose, each time you feel like you are about to fall.

Why I Hate Non-Kosher Pleasures
________________________________

- It is an addiction. A disease. An immaturity.

- These are not-normal, non-healthy desires.

- They destroy my relationship (with my wife), with myself and most importantly, with Hashem.

- "Just once" is always too much. A thousand times is never enough.

- You cannot bargain with the addiction. Half measures avail to nothing.

- “Just once” means giving up, because it won’t solve anything. It will just send you back to square one.

- The more you feed it, the more you want. The less you feed it, the less you will want.

- He wants your soul, not the pleasure. Otherwise, why is a thousand times not enough?

- Is what I am about to do worth resuming that way of life?

- All the effort I've put in until now, all the changes, all the prayers, was it all for naught?

- This is your mission in this world, to fight this insidious evil. For you and for the honor of Hashem's crown.

- Who am I to want anything? What more can a Jew expect in this world? We are not here for pleasure.

- Chaza"l say "a woman is a barrel of excrement and her mouth (analogy) is filled with blood".

- Say NO to the child within you. You are a mature adult who can make the right choices.

- Think of consequence of your actions. The world won’t end if you don’t get what you want now.

- Stay clean, just for today.

REMEMBER
________________________________

- There's no choice but to ACT your way into a new way of thinking.

- Act AS IF you truly feel the importance of saying no, each time on its own.

- Act AS IF you truly believe you will be cared for if you say NO.

- Recovery is not a test of endurance. Rather learning to flow with life.

- Dayainu!! Look at your beautiful life/family, and be happy you are a Jew, doing the work of the king every time you say NO!

- Trust in Hashem to help you cope and to take care of you when you say no.

- Give your sickness and lusts over to Hashem.

- Love Hashem instead. This is the true meaning of yisurai ahavah (love pains)

- Accept the pain of saying No. Enjoy the challenge. The pain is healing you!

- It’s only hard as long as you still think you want it. Decide forever: You don’t want to go back to Egypt!

- Hashem doesn’t ask of us that which we can’t do. The Torah says "Ki karov elecha hadavar me’od" it is very close to you (meaning that it is not difficult), but this is only true if you decide that this is what you truly want!

PRAY
________________________________

- Hashem, I am a Kli Shavur (a broken vessel). HELP ME. HELP ME. HELP ME.

- HASHEM, I AM DOING MY HISHTADLUS (effort). PLEASE HELP ME.

- HASHEM, I AM POWERLESS ALONE. I GIVE OVER MY SICKNESS AND MY DESIRES TO YOU. PLEASE HELP ME.

Do
________________________________

- Take 4 deep breaths. Breath in Nachas Ruach, let go of "Ruach Shtus". Let go of the desires. Picture in your mind that the "breathing out" is the release that you so crave.

- Meditate: Release a balloon in your mind with all the tension and pain inside it, and walk away feeling free of the pain.

- R’ Nachman suggests. Close your eyes (lie on the floor) and put yourself in a place of Bitul. Repeat “I am nothing” again and again.
